This is the statistic that first got me thinking about washable nappies. Just like the average parent I was worried about the practicality and general yuckiness involved but after a few days I was a convert! These days I have two children (who are now sadly out of nappies) and I am a childminder to other happy cloth-bottomed children! I set up www.washables.co.uk primarily as an information page about how to use and wash these nappies but also buy online. I do regular nappy demos and am ALWAYS available for follow-up visits or to answer questions by phone, e-mail or face-to-face meeting. Using washable nappies can seem tricky and daunting at first but with my help you too can learn to love your nappies and join the army of cute cloth bottomed babes!
Also on this website you will find information about hiring of TENS machines for labour and also my fantastic heated birth pool. After two waterbabies I am a great believer in the comforting and pain relieving power of the water in labour and birth. My pool can be hired out for homebirths or simply to relax in towards the end of pregnancy.
